Feels good to be back, but still a bit surreal; real life hasn't hit yet. I imagine going into the office for the first time in two months tomorrow might drop that reality on my head pretty hard.
The week in New York was great, though far off the frenetic visits of the past. Most of the time was actually spent in Hoboken, due to both the warmth Rachel provided me emotionally, and the literal warmth of the flat which made going too far afield a very unwelcome proposition during blizzard Nemo. Still, saw most everyone I wanted to, had some nice dinners, made it to Pongsri Thai, but amazingly only entered gay bars twice, and briefly.
Now to try and fight off jetlag and get unpacked and through six weeks of unopened mail.
Glad to be back in E1,
