Just had a lovely xmas lunch at work... on site WITH wine! That's the way company lunches should be! :)
Tomorrow night is the company xmas dinner, after work, off site, but with champagne & wine from 6:30-11:30 (though I am leaving after the meal to attend another xmas function), totally free, and they're smart enough to make Friday a half day. And I am being paid for all this! Lovely. It's like when you would see Christmas being celebrated in the movies from the 50s & 60s. In fairness the company I am working for is a bit stodgey & dusty... I am curious if it's the same at the firms in Canary Wharf.
Irregardless (sic) it's nice to have a bottle of wine in the middle of the work day. What a brilliant idea!
